Which word do you normally use?

Stove or cooktops?
Electric stove? electric cooktops?
Gas stove? gas cooktops?

That's what I like about the gas hob - fast.

Never used an induction.

Gas BBQ

Gas is good - you can keep cooking when the power goes out. Unless the line breaks and it all explodes of course.

Just to be clear, my understanding is that a stove is a freestanding unit that has both an oven and a cooktop. Whereas a cooktop/hob is a seperate item as is an oven. Yeah, I know, I am a pendantic fucker!
You think that is bad, try to find out the definition of a bungalow! No-one will be able to tell you, incl real estate agents!
