Geez Trace, I think we need to get you one of those security link gadgets that go on your belt (mind you, I can top that ... lost my iPhone4 riding around! Now that was a pain in the arse and wallet to replace! )

Good ride everyone, rubber side down and it seems we massacred the local suicidal population of rabbits and possums last night. Great to see a new face come with Interceptor (though probably wondering what loony bin he wandered into).

Interesting to know what happened to zeocen, he pumpkined on us an no-one knew why! I saw him sidle up to me on the left and then he roared off!

Daikoku was good eats and the ride out to Port Waikato was fun. Would have gone via more twisties, but knew that steel_phoenix also turns into a pumpkin at a certain time!

I hit some rather big juicy bugs that left interesting patterns on my visor and gear! Oh, I also knew that Gremlin would be going through some deja vu when he had to stay behind TOTO on his ginny!

My girl found this ride more forgiving on her posterior, but lamented the lack of visuals due to evening! However, this was more than made up for when she noticed how clear the stars were up above, away from the bright lights of Dorkland.

Spot you all next time! Maybe head up north as a plan!

I feel kinda bad about leaving the Toto and Gremlin behind... sorries, guys.

Picked up a lot of bugs, need to clean my visor and my pants! Yay bugsplat...

I was pushing my limits pretty hard last night - I was very, very cold for most of the ride up until we left Port Waikato, then I think my body gave up on the feeling cold thing - you know when you go swimming in a really cold pool? Like that (time for investment in some cold gear, I think). Funnily, I was fine up until we hit the motorway, then something hit the wall and I started to lose feeling in my hands and thighs (only had feeling in my indexes and thumbs by the time I got home)... Concentration held until I got home, though... Thanks to CNUCK (Interceptor?) for tailing me, the lights in my mirror really helped.

Went home to very worried boys, and got the 'are you sure you want the gixxer?' lecture, a.k.a. 'we're worried that you'll wrap yourself around a tree with a big sportsbike'. Oh, by the way, am totally going to be fine leaving her in the garage... yes, really... yeah, right? :P

You did well last night (except when you almost merged into the side of a car on the motorway, and crossing the centre line a couple of times)

I didn't want to make you feel pressured into going faster when the R1 shot by you, so I took mercy and flew by you the next chance I had. Tried to slow down to give you another pair of headlights and a line to follow, but when I looked closely, it wasn't a little 250's headlights, it was a crazy person on a gixxer's. (I got her back on the ride to momo tea, by getting her lost)

I'll be a better boy next time, it's just not often I get to ride solo and I was enjoying being RIGHT on the gixxer thou's side mirror way too much

I got paged that a baby and a three legged kitten were trapped in a burning apartment so I had to go rescue them.

    FTFY

Was stange, on the way to Daikoku, everyone kept disappearing, Zeo, Toto and then Gremlin (suspicious those two should both be absent after spending a lovely week together.)

couldn't let you have all the fun! sorry steel-phoenix but with the other two taking off i decide to go for a bit of a blast since i don't get to ride much! good on you for keeping within your limits! and robbie you didn't get me lost, you were just a dick for not directing at an intersection, but i spotted you down the road!! And you didn't stop when the headlights behind you disappeared either... i shouldn't have backed off to check the others were ok, then all would have been good! haha

Well turns out Predators are all but gone in NZ and new ones won't have the same low price.

    Back to square one

Hornet 600 is looking mighty tasty right now I have to admit. It'd help on petrol and rego too.

Someone has yanked on my smuggler (box on back of bike) today meaning it needs a trip to the shop cause can't unlock it now without breaking the key! fucking hell I should NOT have come for that ride! (But i did enjoy being out so so much, god damn) so many things have gone wrong within 12 hours of going! GRRRR! yes I'm pissed off right now! someone tried to fuck with my bike, so someone deserves a boot where the sun don't shine!

Zeo always disappears... I did ask if he was real, remember? I think he wasn't... Toto was scared he would run out of gas (I think he's got a serious addiction problem), and I caught up with you guys... I needed another battery for my phone, which chewed up the remainder doing a reboot...

Hey Tracey, does that mean no more fat arse? Gixxer obviously...

This thread is a bit kafka-esque at the moment! Thank god zeo couldn't get a Predator, he'd only turn around 6 months later and swap it for a Triumph! Yes, we were all not surprised the magic pumpkin hour came about.

Tracey, sorry to hear about some lowlife mucking your bike about, when did this happen?

Thank gosh my Cindy finally got to do a night time ride in the twisties, she was feeling like I wasn't loving her anymore! I think she is missing ice, snow, sleet and storm conditions!
