    Already booked for the 19th....

    Track one FTW.

Who do I need to bribe to get the new lid? EDIT: only for those doing both days? Sucks.

How come there's no prize draw for the people doing one?

It was indeed, despite the number of brain fades through out the day.

    I'd forgotten

I'd forgotten how much I enjoy taupo!!! Thanks Motott

It was my first time back since dropping my bike and breaking my foot in 2009 at this track. As It turned I thought my track bike was knackered after hampton downs on Wednesday and Not having time to confirm didn't know whether I would make it down. Decided to bite the bullet and bring my road bike down as I really didn't want to miss it. With the insurance excess and the thoughts of last time out on this track firmly emplaned in my head the initial laps were very tentative (particularly the turn onto he back straight where the last woops happened).

Anyway... Didn't have any of the same problems I had in the past with certain corners so had a blast.

Only two regrets, and that's that I didn't come for both days and I couldn't bring the nc30 to play on that track, but meh, went on to pitch tent and camp with my son just down the road and then take a leisurely cruise home in sunday so was all in all a great weekend.

    Thanks again motott, awesome!!!

Ian Laurie was our photographer on Friday www.hardout.webs.com

Kiwifruit is working on the photos that Alick Saunders took on Saturday right now. He had to recover from the epic 60 kilometer cross-hilly-country! I think he slept all Sunday!! He'll post up the link as soon as they're done.
