    Fucken Spies FTW!!!

Dani will do to Casey what he did to Nicky, taking both the front running Repsol men into the litter. Mr Spies will capitalize and take the win, Dovi hot on his heels.

I reckon Spies will win a race or two this year...but not this one.

There's a shit load of Honda's up front! Your right Rossi won't be happy although Randy has got his Duc 6th on the list?
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Maybe you've just gotta ride the Ducati like a mad cunt to make it work!

It's quite telling that 4 of the top 5 are on Honda's (combined times would've seen Hiro Aoyama 6th which would've made for Honda filling 5/6 of the top). Could be a good year for Honda.

One thing that would be interesting to find out is who was there to put in a good time and who was there to test shit. Some cagey bastards keep a fair bit in reserve on test days, doing things like having a blinder for half a lap then slowing a fraction for the 2nd half etc, using sector times instead of complete lap times.

Needs to be. Big egg on face if they don't win an 800cc world title. Having won multiple 500cc two stroke, then 1000cc moto gp titles...pushing so hard for an 800cc limit and not winning one? They want it real bad!

I'm no huge Honda fan...but I must say it's pretty impressive how many motors they had spare last season compared to the others. Especially when they were quite obviously more powerfull to boot...

That's what I used to do. Only because I couldn't stay on a full lap, so had to compare sector times.....................

Excuse my lack of knowledge (so I turn to KB) but just a thought, is he on the same year duc as Rossi or last years one??

He is on the GP11 - same year as the factory fellas. I believe Randy has a few mods in the testicular dept. that Rossi and Hayden have yet to acquire....

I will be pretty pissed off if VR doesn't get on the pace - as I was really looking forward to a Stoner Rossi all year shit fight.

With Stoner coming out on top, of course.

But - I'm not ready yet to believe that the JB/VR package is not going to work.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

There's a lot at stake for Rossi if he can't win on the Ducati...

Has Vale even showed his hand yet? He's as cunning as a fox so wouldn't be surprised to see something extra come raceday.

He wasn't the quickest when he went to Yamaha either but that changed on the 1st meeting..........................will be interesting for sure........can't wait

Exactly. He'll be testing right up until the lights go out for the 1st race, then he'll bring his A game.

In past years he wasn't the fastest in testing, but on Sunday's he does the deed.

The first year he was on the Yamaha he rode the arse off the thing even though the bike wasn't quite up to it yet and I'd expect him to do the same on the Ducati.

End of the day Rossi rides to win and if he thinks he can do it on the Ducati then this year is going to be spectacular.

Is there? Multiple world champ, taken victories in 250's, last rider to win a 500cc championship, first to win in the 990's etc etc etc. If he doesn't perform on the Duke that ain't going to take anything away from him. If this thread was posted 5-6yrs ago all money would be on him, but the new crop of riders are here, it had to happen.
