    Internet nerds! I need advice.

I want the cheapest internet connection package I can find. Currently, I am with Telecom. Dial up. about 29.95 a month for internet, plus home phone around $40 a month. I hardly use my landline for calls so, all up its about $70 a month.

I want to know about a cheaper option!! with any ISP.

If you pay less than me for internet. Please let me know, who are you with?

Then you can look at the naked DSL options from the likes of Sling Shot and World Xchange.
How important is helpdesk support or are you happy with the KB helpdesk support option (although this doesn't work when your interweb is down) ?
How much data you looking the shift, if you are still on dial-up I guess not a lot but this could be the reason you are looking to change.

I use my internet for emails/browsin websites like Kb facebook and the like. Dont really download movies and other large files. went off the internet porn after picking up a virus lol
so really, I dont download alot at all. The only reason I like dial up is because its unlimited and I can stay on as long as I like.

Slingshot dialup is probably going to be one of the cheapest options... if you have problems... well... don't bother posting here

but there's another point, do they tie in with a cell plan and what cell comp do you use? Hope you didn't think this was going to be easy
they (Telcos/ISPs) don't do straight pricing as that would make comparison too easy for the public.

vodafone ISP business is seperate from cellphones

naked options wont necessarily be cheaper but you should get better internet service for the same money (assuming you dont want a landline)

Orcon could be worth a look

Try a vodafone or 2degrees prepay mobile broadband, top it up as you need it, they start with either 2 or 3 gigs included.
