Most of my riding is done at 100km/h. My most common ride is a blast down the motorway into Redwood from Rangiora.

I drop to around 30km/h if I go full noise at 130km/h for any great length of time

I bought a 2008 jog with 1,100kms on the clock for $1,450 (new are $2,200)
I bought a derestricted CDI for $205 so it now does 65km/h
12 months rego is $169 nowadays
my insurance is $130/year with State (excess is $100)
I get about 4L/100kms because I drive it flat out 80% of the time

I commute 7kms to work and all in all it's about $2/day for me which is less than what parking for a car would be by itself

And the novelty still hasn't worn off. Wet days suck though.

Got my scooter in July last year $700 on trademe, it had done 6800km.
Now at 11,000km, easily paid off the purchase price and more with savings on commuting costs.
30km/day commute, does 25km/L, like others this is riding flat out most of the time, and I've got a big hill to deal with.
Mods, none, I opened it up to disconnect the restriction wire but found it had already been done.
Max speed very much depends on wind direction (this is Wellington). ~60km/h on the flat no wind. Up the gorge into a northerly much much slower.
Breakdowns & problems - none so far
Insurance - none, it's not worth it is it?

Might pay to look at 3rd party. It will be cheap as chips. If you crash into someones car at 30km/h and it's your fault, you'll probably be surprised at how much it costs to get it fixed.

Well, the price for something that is not low, of course. But they should receive money. And what is the custom in New Zealand? High unit price of the scooter?

trying to understand what kind of business away from me. I am 10 years this has worked in Ukraine ...

Model, they are weak. I have to trade so much better models of scooters and more new ones!

Maybe it depends on the local fashion?

So by my calculations - about $500-1000 / year.
