If you're going to the Clevedon pub, you'd cover all the roads I mentioned before ending up at the pub.

If you're going to join the ever-hilarious and not at all tiresome bandwagon of me leaving rides early, at least put the legwork in to make sure your baseless jokes are geographically sound.

Clevedon pub, was that the one where we had the cupcakes (thoughtfully provided by Steel Phoenix) for Zeocen's birthday?

Well did the ride out to Clevedon Hotel, no sight of zeocen (even did the txting thing!) Met Wanpo's mate on the 600cibby and slicks for tonights wet riding!

Was fun, pizzas were delicious, the full glare of the heater when it turned on was quite amazing! Momotea for drinks and the usual outrageous story telling. TOTO was on form tonight with his unique way of relating his tales!

Nice wet ride home, brought back good memories of my usual outrageous rides to back and beyond!

Didn't even get a txt from Tracey!

Yea I was wandering why the CBR kept sliding side wise and almost came off the roundabout and it all came clear while stopped at those road works - hypersport tyres. Great if we were on a race track but at the cold dark and wet night , not the best solution to put it mildly. I suppose that classifies as an adventure since I reckon it falls under the category of Taking inappropriate equipment on places it is not meant to be

Also someone needs to explain to Wanpo how the traffic light activation in NZ works. I saw him last time and then also tonight at the traffic lights. Dude you could have stayed at the lights for an hour the way you stop without it turning green. Let me take away your ignorance next week

Don't let Toto touch you in your special area Wanpo... You've been warned.

I'm not sure what lights you mean in particular, but I'm usually walking my bike back and forward over the sensors. Unless I see someone behind me, then I move forward, let them trigger it.

Riding in rain is nothing new but for me it would usually be part of my daily commute, splitting carefully through traffic on well-lit main roads while getting soaked in a downpour.

So the rain added a point of difference to a ride along roads more often travelled when dry, front wheel slide is always an interesting experience, then very dark and even more wet on the way out of Clevedon back over the hill and through to Whitford.

Great pizza at Clevedon, followed by the usual BS-talk at Momotea always good for a laugh. Then the all-too-familiar action of chucking wet gear into the drying cupboard at home, and swapping to use spare dry gear this morning for the daily commute.

Also let it be noted that wet weather pants always lose their waterproof-ness in the crotch first
