Is there a timetable out yet ?
A heads up;
Entries officially closed this evening.........late entries are encouraged there is still plenty of space on the grids for all classes!! There will be no on the day entries accepted.
Make sure your race numbers meet MNZ requirements, everyone is getting a bit pissed off with not being able to identify riders from commentators to marshalls to race officials.
Hampton Downs now has 'Race Radio', bring along your portable radio and tune into 102.5 FM for commentary.
Open practise starts on Friday at 12 mid day and will be run in amalgamated classes ie:- superbike/superstock 1000 & supersport/superstock 600, superlight & 650 together etc.
We are now inviting entries for a Clubmans support class, this can include motards and bears $120 = 3 races.
The time table will be confirmed with the acceptance notifications but there will be no surprises, scrutineering from 7am (belly pans off) with riders briefing at 08:50 and so the day will role out.
Weather is looking good!

Come and support NZ Road Racing and the Auckland Club.
Well done Andrew on your 9th championship and well done all you quick guys, how you can maintain that pace for 20 laps I’ll never know. My puny little body was screaming after just 10!!
I was sweating like a paedophile outside a play ground, hit the brakes for the hairpin on one occasion and splashed the ‘inside’ of my visor with sweat!
Unfortunatly I had no one to race with so just circulated at a ‘very’ modest pace keeping my eye out for the freight train to come by, and it did…..twice!! Hey I didn’t even come last in the first race!
Hopefully more will show up at Manfield next week. Its freekin hard trying to concentrate on riding all on your lonesome lap after lap with know one to push you or chase you, spent my time listening for the tell tale engine harmony of some one on your ass and a look out for blue flags. Absolutely no point in getting in their way.
I thought my bike was reasonably quick until I saw how fast those extra ponies in the Superbike engines make them go! Oh and there is the talent thing too of course.
Despite the on again off again weather and the on again off again first race it was a awesome experience working in the Yamaha pit with Brian Bernard, Dan Stauffer, Tony Rees, Jaden Hassen and Mike Reid. All working together, with some friendly banter and heaps of advice.
Thanks to all the marshalls for staying out in some pretty crap weather you did a fantastic job and were kept busy on Saturday!
Hey I’m the New Zealand Superstock 1000 TT Champion and got pole position for the class ha ha. The trophies tell it all eh!
Come on guys buy a litre bike and come racing, the pain is worth it![]()
Awesome Graham. I was watching at turn 2 cheering for you. Good on ya for giving it a go.
When things weren't slippery as shit it looked like everyone was giving it their best. There was some pretty major surgery going on around the place after Saturday claimed quite a few bikes, but it was great to see your bike looking so well presented and coming through the weekend without destroying it. Loved the placement of your race number too.
At Paeroa I came dead last (due to a problem with 1st gear on the start line) but it was such a buzz to be there and I imagine it was the same for you over the weekend. Great fun just being there, giving it a go and sharing the track with racers I'd only watched and admired.
Congrats on the title!!!
