Cold Duck Rally 2011 (13-15 May)

aw stink!!! I was so looking forward to my first cold duck rally this year too. Bit of a long wait until the next one but alas, it must be done. Hope you all get up to mischief. I expect nothing less.

Not sure if I can make it this year...ducks...row...etc... probably a last minute decision if I do. (as usual!)

Meet at start of Manawatu gorge Ashhurst end SH2,SH50 onga onga,waipawa and ralley,basic boring wet weather option only

Meet at Fielding BP,up to Kimbolton Managaweke's,Kawhatau valley road,potaka road,2toes road,SH1 to Taihapi,Gentle Annie,SH50,Hastings,Havelock Nth to Middle road to river road turn left into Pourerere rd and left over tghe bridge into CD

Meet at Ashurst end of Manawatu gorge on too Woodville trun sth into SH2,left into Pahiatua-pongaroa Rd,left in SH52 follow too the right at the weber intersection onto wimbledom and old hill rd to Waipukurau to Waipawa and out to CD

Meet at Ashurst end of Manawatu gorge on too Woodville trun sth into SH2,left into bluff road onto jacksons road and oringi road,right into SH2 to dannivirke to weber road,mangahei road,Ormondville Te uri road tourere RD to Waipukurua,Waipawa and CD

Milked last sunday afternoon in lieu of friday afternoon.....so will knock off work about 10.30 Friday for the Cold Duck...Maybe will have a bike ready to go by then! otherwise its the car...

So, if its the car then let me know if there is anything I can take for people in the Manawatu....anyone need help with getting shit there??

snap too it .. btw if the last 3 yrs I have been are to go by a wet ride to start but absolutely minta time at the rally (first yr was a bit wet) but other two have been stunning days .. stop being a fair weather rider ..

Too right I'll be making it a date for next year for sure but what a wait! I was so going this year. Poo poo poo poo poo! But, next year will be a blast. And I'll be heading along to as many rallies as poss on me own, and simply cant wait. But, will jus have to for a moment xx

the yr does go fast but prob slow for you at the mo. Next yr is a date babe (ok so its not the best offer you have had ) Once your back on your feet & lost the hardware it will be a new life and yup next yr it will be a blast keep healing chick

have got my ticket so may see all on road ,have been on few of the cold ducks and have had a great time . getting there early is best as there is a lot of riders arriving on Saturday ,and you want to set your tent up when it light and if possible not raining

and what is this rain you speak of ?? it rains on the way there & on the way home but not at the venue (much)

I've never had a wet trip going or coming from the CD..... did get 30minutes of drizzle one saturday morning ....thats the most rain I have encoutered when I have been at the CD
