+1 unless he gets a GN125, then it could become rather tame. Still with this attitude I'm sure he would make even a thread on a GN125 interesting.

Any bike will powerstand if you put a big enough sprocket on it

though on a ginny the gearing may end up giving you valve bounce at 50kmhr, still sounds like this fulla may be better suited for some slow riding

It's happening already. Everyone knows exactly how this guy rides without ever having seen him.

His description of is riding we have seen so we know from his own words what he rides like, well at least on his first go on the road. What he looks like is irrelevant.

So he climbed on an R1 and made the very common mistake of giving it a handfull. From this you deduce he's an idiot and we should burn him as ah heretic?

    Nice.

To the thread starter, I'll ride with ya man! Anyone who scares the shit of themselves and decides that's their cup of tea is a GC in my books.

Red line on an 07 R1 is a wee bit higher than 120..... You'd have to drop 3 teeth on the front and have a top speed of 240 ish...

So, you got on an R1 and gave it a handful? Good times.

Buy a Hayabusa and show us a wheelie. Don't wear any protective gear either, it's for pussies.

As in wheelie do you mean the front wheel lifted an inch or 2 when you gassed it, or

was it like wheel pointing to the clouds sort of wheelie???

    just to stir the pot...

250 2mx bike will wheelie pretty violently, haven't ridden a IL4 thou to compare but my KX can lift the wheel off the throttle in all but top and is just plain vicious in 1st (way more than my mille).

New to the road doesn't mean new to bikes - his dirtbike experience probably puts him in good stead to control a sportsbike.
