    New old borrowed blue

    Old biker enjoying the novelty of an electric start on the XJ 750 i just bought My arthritis has gotten so bad I can hardly grip anything, my cataracts seem to get worse every day, I have gout in my right leg and can't bend my knee,and I can't hear anything, but i thank God I can still ride

    your a bit like my 86 year old mother in law, she is nearly blind, deaf, and can hardly move, good job she can still drive herself about or she would be stuck at home

    Hi ya FJ Rider, thanks for the pre purchase advice again,like a mug i got it ( couldn't stand to ride pillion on mates bike to get home lol). Rode said beasty home with no probs apart from cold idle issue. Charged battery up this morning and been out for a decent ride on a sunny Easter morn

    Keep on top of the battery ... charge wise. They dont start well with less than full charge. Cold idle issues are a trait with older bikes ... but if thats the worst of the issues ...
