Are there any photos of A grade? I know the Kart club has some but I'm not sure when or if they are posting them on their website (http://www.kartsportwellington.co.nz/Home.aspx)

Apologies for the standard of photography but the night wasn't that young by the time we had finished arguing about track layout and rules.
It's funny, at the time I remember thinking it looked a sight more professional than that. Bt you can't see the other writing in red so well in the pic.

I have posted some B grade race videos from Saturday.

This one is my favourite, as it contains my first knee down and a lap in the 47's

I have also posted round 3 races from King of Kaitoke (better late than never)

Super stoked for your new lap time!! And for your knee down!! I did both on Sat too!!

BUT... How can I watch my wobbly race lines if you ride off road and get left behind?! What if we tied a tow rope or something in between us! Could get us a podium finish if we hook it up between us, but ride opposite sides of the track!!

Yeah, the off roading was not part of my plan for the day. Next time, next time....

One photographer was Phil from the Kart Club. His contact is on the clubs website. Another was Daryl who does stuff for most of the local papers. Don't know the third one.

Who are we going to call the 1, 2, and 3rd placegetters for B grade... I missed the end of the races.

    A grade:
    1st Hamish
    2nd Fishie
    3rd Andrew

    B grade:
    1st
    2nd
    3rd

    C grade:
    1st ?

I would be inclined to give C grade points as follows:
    1) Michelle
    2) Mihi

And none for the rest of us as these two are the only ones that did both days!

I thought the whole weekend was non-points. I did what I hoped I'd do - have FUN!!!! There was someone else in C on Sunday, but he moved up to B as couldn't handle having no contest lol, but don't know his name either.

Before heading home on Sunday, watching the bikes being tested (and the track drying out again), I was thinking how different it was from up by the clubrooms to on the track (turn one)

Now have to wait for a few more weeks before heading out again, but am still buzzing, and thrilled to have that feeling back again. I'd almost given up on away meets (planning on still going, but leaving the bike behind but so glad I didn't).

Trudes would've ridden (impression I got) except we were all talking about not riding after Saturday as the weather was due for a change, and we'd all had such a good day (didn't want a downer of a day Sunday). I missed the other females out there Sunday, but was still happy circulating.

Sorry for not picking up the camera to take snaps of A-grade, but I was enjoying the atmosphere and couldn't be stuffed really hahaha (I did give it half a thought but decided against bothering)

I wouldn't stress too much over "results", there will be no trophy or check in the mail, from what I understand they are only needed for The Wainuiomata Gazette or some other small local rag that a total of two people will probably read
It was all for the fun of it, great to hear most people did that.
