    lookin at a stay fri further south this year Ranfurly has been an awesome spot for the past few years, but time for a change yo.

    hmmmm the entry is a wee bit steeper than last year... lets hope they don't grade the entry track again like last year way too many bikes falling over.

    I made the suggestion to them by e-mail, after last year's debacle, that they put another gate in at the Poolburn end of the site just to be opened on the Sunday if needed.
    Trying to get up the slope in that frozen snow wasn't pleasant at all...no, sir!.

    I wrote to them and suggested they get a load of gravel for the mud trail that they had made through the camp.

    was just luck I got out on two wheels last year. couple guys gave me push start, both feet as outriggers, then slide down hill to gate. wasn't really road bike friendly
