Have a shower at home, but we do have hot showers there. Not a lot of privacy though (sorry, shouldn't give the games away!).

On a more serious note, forecast is for overcast weather Thursday (today) and Friday, Fine on Saturday and pissing down Sunday. Also before anybody (Aucklanders specifically) complains, Hawkes Bay will have the best weather out of the entire country so no excuse for not coming!

In saying that, the mud bath we had a few years ago had less people but they partied harder, longer, drank more booze and ate more food than the fine year before that!

So don't be afraid of a little rain!
Thought for the day: Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything but they're funny when they're pushed down the stairs. Also: Who picks up guide dog shit?

I have been unsure of whether to go, last weekend the weather forecast was looking horrible and my scootah had a bald rear tire and I had no money for a new one.

But last Saturday I played some poker and won $1K, today I got a new Metzler on the scoot and looking at the forecasts:
    http://metservice.com/towns-cities/hastings
    http://metvuw.com/forecast/forecast....i&noofdays=all
it really doesn't look too bad, especially for Saturday - Maybe a bit windy but basically fine.

So now I think I'll head on down leaving mid morning tomorrow and getting there mid afternoon or so. Are all the KBers camping in the gully again? Same place as when I was there 2 years ago?

Packed and ready to rock and roll. Looking forward to an most enjoyable weekend

Dogsnbikes:Crickey Its "theOne" looking forward too a good weekend,oh will a gerry can be required??

Be informed I now have the situation under control , extra supply R/H saddlebag

Phantom:Got my bike back on the road, (must be the first time I have been pleasently surprised with the cost of a motorcycle repair - thanks AFC ), and paid for my tickets. Now will it be Jamieson's or Maker's Mark ? Decisions, decisions.

Hope you got the decision under control, The Port is organised, unfortunately the usual Bourbon supply will not be there this time.
