And dont worry about litle ole me , People such as you good self have completely ruined New Zealand ( i dint do that , the law is the Law , ,,., harden f up and just follow the rules ,,,,) Well those "rules" weren't made for the benefit of you and I , they were made for others to make money, ( from the budget today...* Proposes the sell-off of shares in four state-owned energy companies and reduce its majority shareholding in Air New Zealand. It will retain a majority stake-hold in all five firms. GAIN: $7 billion
This is clearly stated in the IMF manifesto ,, ie you borrow money , you privatize your assets , and we buy them, ..just put that in there in the vain hope you might realize ,,,)

Speeding for example , if you cant see that the "rules" are poorly thought out and the roading is ...well the cheapest option, if you still have trouble with this ... then this "keyboard warrior " has a lot of work still to do
BTW I am quite comfortabe , sitting back here , behind the keyboard , because back in the 80s , I spent quite a considerable sum of my own money trying to stop the "rot" but the never had it so goods , did nothing , So you have the NZ, you have today , a place which is a former shadow of itself. Well done fella ! GOOD JOB

    Stephen

Still on topic ...as you can see .....

If you think that the country is the way it is today because of traffic rules then no wonder you wasted your money, you haven't got a clue do you, so i guess its just as well you aren't here.

And as for saying your on topic, nothing could be further from the truth and this isn't a troll so i guess yours must be otherwise

NOBODY is disagreeing with you ... if YOU cock up , then fine , IF the playing field is level

WHAT we ARE complaining about is that the guidelines we have been told to follow are not good enough

    Simple

If other countries can have decent road rule , then one should expect NZ to have similar ,,,,UNLESS they don't want to because the benefits for not changing out weigh the results of the possible changes

You may not like the law or the way it is enforced, but your only option is to try and change one or other or both of those.

Confronting the guy in the van, and I also believe they are civvys, won't achieve anything. I would do that to feed my family if I had to.
Do you rat out your mates for speeding too?
    I'd eat my family first.

Ah, should I be concerned that you know how well built my kids are?

Very lenient but if you do f up oh my fing god its expensive

motorways speed limit is 80 odd but most people sit between 100 and 140, testing a blackbird isnt unheard off !!!

around the towns , speed limit 50 but most people drive 60

When, like now, they have donut drives ,,,yes just before Christmas and end of the financial year, they are just as sneaky

BUT reasonable ( actually yes , reasonable ) I was pinged , last weekend during a donut drive for no right turn , ( bugger me Ive been doing that for 10 years ) and because I have a gold license ( Im concidered a good driver ) he said you're getting the fine , but if you are unpinged for 3 months no demerits , IF you do get pinged ya get both sets AND lose your gold license ( cool I can ride the bike to work!)

2 years ago I was pinged by a camera for 90 in a 50 , a few points loss of license for a month and 100 000 yen fine ... meeeh I was over taking a truck on a clear dual carriage way ,,,just me and the truck ,,,,,, oh well them the breaks

Honestly I probably wont see a policeman for a couple of years , just unlucky ....

The old bill in general though , are pretty reasonable , I was passed out one night in front of the ticket machine , the picked me up took me to the police station , let me sleep it off in the front waiting room , then got me a taxi home ,,,
So back the next afternoon I went with crispy creme donuts for the whole office ( large box )

I don't know what to say ,,,I like it. what I would call reasonable

No, as per KB you have miss quoted me.
I wrote "If you think that the country is the way it is today because of traffic rules then no wonder you wasted your money"
I was meaning that i don't subscribe to your idea that obeying a traffic rule is akin to giving in to some tyrannical dictatorship.

You didn't need to make it clearer, i did what you meant and thought you where talking BS. I just can't see how your brain is working.

    have a nice day.
