I knew there was a reason for my flat chest!!! lol
I lived a 15min walk from work in Brisbane, so there wasn't much point in riding.
I travel a 100km round trip to work each day, from Palmerston to Marton, so I'm loving that I get so much riding time in!
Downside is it takes me an extra 20mins to put enough layers on so I dont freeze to death.

Two questions, did you actually steal the swift's over taking opportunity and at any given time were you in the driver's blind spot?
Despite what you'd like to believe, driven aggressively I reckon that Swift would thrash the pants off your 250.
Remember there are always 2 sides to a story and for all you know that driver's reactions may have saved your life.
.... back in green and feeling great ....
I almost got bowled off yesterday. Was lucky enough to swerve and avoid the dork but didn't realise that TWO people were actually trying to get in my lane at the same time so sprained my wrist hitting the window of one car but managed to avoid them both.
You'll get used to this, it happens frequently and to be honest if I had actually been paying proper attention I bet I would've seen it coming. You usually can always see it coming....
Good luck - Keep your eyes open and watch out for other road users cause they aren't looking for you!

Hospital wards and morgues are FULL of people who displayed AWESOME commuting skills right up untill.....
Chill - take your time getting to work..... there is a recession on so slow down...

This.
I wouldn't call it stealing and the Swift driver should have checked before trying to pull out but, from what you've described, it sounds like they just wanted to overtake as well. Which is very different from trying to stop you from doing so.
This is the kind of thing you have to be aware of always as it is always likely when you get to a prime passing opportunity that someone else will be thinking the same thing as you.
