    ...being chased by grey HQ's with a flashing light...knowing they would not get around a lot of the tight hilly corners in my home-town, in anything under a three point turn...T250-1...boys in blue-nil...and if they did get you. it was generally only a kick in the arse...and they were only called 'the cops' or 'the fuzz' then...and sometimes you may even have a beer with one after rugby in the clubrooms...

    I had an anglia with a v6 grenada in it when i was 14 and got seen by someone spinning up and down the road doing donughts and shit,and the next day the local traffic copper turned up at home and made me go with him to see all the big angry roadworkers.Got a right bollocking and a few threats of some despicable acts,but didnt get charged. They were good buggers back then.
