The "Race Performance System" sticker melted on the 2 into 1 so now the cx doesn't have race performance. Pity really.

Hey, none of this crazy talk Al

Sounds like an awesome ride guys. Mum needed a few jobs done so I hopped on the Daytona and fanged down through Mangamarie, round the bypass to Featherston. The Taka's bekoned and I got stuck behind a truck for a couple of kms before sneaking past and had a fab clear run to the top.

Quite a few roadworks on the downhill side so took it easy. Good run through the Hutt into Wellies. Had some fun with a couple of cages on the motorway, good sports

A spot of home cooking and jobs done, then back via SH1 and Shannon, stopped in for a coffee with Sandra then a good clear night run home

Nice to hear some people are getting out and enjoying the roads.

I'm hoping to make some time for a winter jaunt at some point, the poor ol' bird has forgotten what it's like to stretch it's legs. Can't wait til I can throw the tent in the pack and just fuckoffski for a few thousand k's!

Totally awesome day. We spent all day being 'out the back' of Marton, Hunterville, Mangaweka, Kimbolton and Pohangia. Who would have thought there were SO many great gravel roads withing a stones throw of Palmy!!! Great bunch of guys and wow, talk about pace on some of that gravel! I highly recommend a mandatory dirtbike in everyones garage. Do it! Awesome!
