in a particularly quiet time @ work (like now) I got to page 5 of your started threads, your own trend is rather heavily in favour of R&R threads - 61 R&R and Jokes threads vs 39 actual biking ones

It is a good thing if this forum reflects common life to a degree.

If we all met in person all the time instead of on here I reckon the conversation would still be something like 5% bikes and 95% talking shit wouldn't it so nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, think theres more to yack about than Just bikes. But good having a yarn to someone that shares a common interest...

Maybe that's because when you're stuck under a helmet for hours and hours the only thing you have to amuse you is your own mind ... hence the introspection ...

And basically, we don't give a flying fuck what happens in the "real" world ..

Yeah - except the gobby little shites on here that are as brave as Atilla the Hun when hiding behind a key-board are very likely to say jack-shit in person - or at least not be as antagonistic, opinonated and as provocative with what they say compared to their on-line attitude.

    Real life sucks for some...

Banter is all good but the politics and religion crap belong elsewhere (yes I have posted in these as its hard not to get tangled up in it).
That would be Classic-Z and it's still not finished...

Whatever we think about this site it is popular,so it must be working as a mix of biking and other subjects.

I am a member of a few 'biking only' sites and they are lucky if 50 people a week pop in for a read and even less contribute. Keen as I am 400 threads on GSXR1000rrrs can get a bit tedious.

So yeah it works for me and as far as topical news stories from around the country go, usually it's been discussed, derided, applauded, dismissed, and analysed to death on here before TV1/3 even get hold of it.

I tune in because I'm a biker but it's more about the life loves and hates of a biking community for me. long live KB
    It's gone international...
