What's the rules on giving clues? Do people need them?

Usually people ask for a clue. If no one asks I'd give it another day or so.
Even though I have no clue as to where this is, I haven't asked for a clue as someone else may have some ideas but have not yet been able to go and get this.
The days where it was a race to get to a tag as quickly as possible to get it before someone else does seem to have gone.
What's the shortest time a tag has lasted? It was less than an hour if I remember correctly.

5 minutes sketchy snr up in paraparaumu,and about 10 days is the longest.Dont wait to long for a clue tomorrow though.I have no idea either,although thats not unusual.
