Who said competition was fair? Terol didn't fall off, wasn't hurt, they caused no accident that created issues for other riders.

    Go hard or go home.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Zarco didn't need to lean into Terol. Standard MX move but a big call at that speed and could have killed Terol. I don't blame him though. Shit happens when you play all your cards in the heat of competition. Simo is the same, love him or hate him, he's committed and awesome to watch. It's not Golf!
Sofoglu on the other hand,, was a knob and clearly had a brain fart! That could have been alot worse..

I would not want not race with some of the 'brave' bastards on this thread. Zarco's move appeared deliberate. So it needed to be dealt with. And it was. People still get killed out there................

Sofoglu stuffed up big time - but it was a 'racing incident'.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

I see we agree. Zarco's move was deliberate but I suspect on reflection he regrets it. Penalty was fair. Sofoglu stuffed up and I'm certain he regrets it as well, he has been quite emotional in the past. These guys are at the top of their sport and are trying very hard to do well. That to me, makes it facinating to watch, and envious. It would be a fantastic event to attend, 85000 fans and all that Spanish flair. Definately on my bucket list, along with the Italian meetings.

Yeah, sorry reading your post slowly, we do in fact agree.

I confused you with the brave? bastards here who have said it was an OK move on Zarco's part.

I think in hindsight even Zarco would realise that the adrenalin kicked in a bit toooo much.

    Your an Idiot (just saying)
But serioulsy, Have you ever done any road racing? Serious question??
I agree it makes the racing great to watch and he had made a good pass on that last corner but the way in which he finished the move was very deliberate and dangerous and unfair, he only done this IMO because he new he wouldnt get to the line first so he shoved him off the track.
you say Terol should have backe off? Why should he there was plenty of track slash ripple strip there for the both of them untill Zarco picked his up and gave him the shove.

    Major choke I think.

Little wheelie off the line by the looks of it. Backed off the throttle and got swamped.

He picked his bike up and run the guy off the fucken track when he clearly could have kept his line and left room for Terol to stay on track, the only problem with that is he would not have won so he actually turned into him so he had no room. Very Dirty and good call from race direction
Half agree. Terol was a muppet and should have lost from taking a defensive line into the final corner. If zarco hadn't of so blatantly pushed terol off the track he probably would have still won. In the end it was dangerous though and pushing terol onto the grass like that could have caused a pretty nasty crash. Terol didn't ride very smartly though and should have lost cause zarco was willing to put it closer to the limit and that deserves reward in my book.

i thought Terol would have learnt by now that he is fast enough to win more than his share of races, why he continues with these games is beyond me.Agree the Zarco move was well done until the deliberate shove on the kerb

Yeah no need for it IMO, theres being aggressive then dirty. Lucky the race was run because the next move tends to become a little crazy

I was at the race yesterday and the 125's were definately the highlight. My seat was in the stadium area (the triple right before the main straight) and the crowd was going nuts. I dont think there were too many that were upset at the correct final result. Probably due to the fact a spaniard still won.
Surprisingly there seemed to be a lot of support for simo. Everytime he appeared on the big screens or rode past there were definately more cheers than jeers. Stoner on the other hand seemed to get the silent treatment.
The circuit de catalunya is a fantastic spectators track with great facilities and it would be hard to find a more passionate crowd.
Between the Moto2 and MotoGP a Moto3 bike did a few laps and it was clearly slower than the 125's. Bad news ditching the 125 class.

Amazing photo of Stoner's lean angle during the race...
