I had a look for the first time after T&E merged with them. I found this on the front page.
All of the car and bike listings I looked at were way overpriced and had almost no views. I certainly wouldn't use it as the only means to sell something I wanted to get rid of.
Sella bought out Zillion a couple of years ago and recently did the same to Trade & Exchange.
Unfortunately, they're still pushing the same old fucked up marketing strategy as the afore-mentioned 'has been's' were.
I would love for something like Sella to do well as we need a genuine competitor for TM. Unfortunately with not many people checking it out, we (sellers) are unlikely to get a better price.
TM keep increasing their fees every year or two. Used to be cheap to sell stuff, now not so much. Owned by newspaper mafia, who seem to want to charge the same rip off prices they used to charge for the old newspaper classifieds.

I scored a low use, PW50 off Sella for $300. Same bike would have gone for $1200 + on trademe. I've also bought jeans and and a few bits and bobs off Sella.

I like Sella, They say they will always be free to sell, and any extra advertising is cheap if ya want it.
Just gotta get more people on there is all.
Trademe are a bunch of rapists that care only for themselves, enough said.
Sella is poo's. Not enough stuff for sale, not enough individuals selling, mostly business from what I can see.![]()
