So, to put an end to all this f**king about, I suggest that we ask those people to PM each other then put a deadline in finalizing both the venue(s) and weekend so anyone contemplating can decide to attend or not. Then we can proceed to discussing the important stuff (music, grog, gas stations etc).

Oh, one other thing - since the person contacting the proposed venue is an individual and will presumably make the call whilst sober, why on earth would they make booking for a "gang of drunken bikers"? All they need say is that we are expecting a turnout of 40 motorcyclists wishing to "celebrate an anniversary".

Looks good to me. I don't mind sleeping on an inflatable mattress on the floor.

't would be a shame to miss out on this.

OK, I phoned the Scout Camp options. Not a goer for us at all, very rudimentary, and tents needed!
A Christian Camp @ Teapot Valley was suggested to me and its here online but appears to be a fully catered camp with staff. And I'll put $$$ on it that Alcohol is not permitted!
    http://www.teapotvalley.co.nz/Page03.htm (Catered rates) Comments please.

BUT I think the Paretai option needs to be picked up by a KB members up Nelson way, dates ticked (9/10 Dec 2011), bond sorted, and advise us that it is a goer! OK, some of us may be on airbeds, but so be it. It will be all ours for 2 nights.

    Anybody???

I say 'go for it'! Any locals that can organise it?

Can't find it on google maps. Where is it exactly?
