I didn't mean to give the impression that there was anything wrong with them. If they have a standard beginning with EN then they are probably fine. Note my comment about them being long enough to cover your tail bone (you want to prevent your tail bone being worn off in a slide). Neither of them seem to give the length.

I seemed to recall Cycletreads having back protectors from $130, but my memory could well be wrong. Toto?

Yup both meet the highest standards (level 2), not too sure about the tailbone however. I spoke to toto a couple of weeks ago and the cheapest i could find was 300

I got an ok one two weeks ago, down from 230 to 150. sixone brand, cycletreads. Also the oxfords were under 200...

Tried a couple of oxford ones, unfortunately none fit and stock wont be replenished for a while mate! i missed a bargain

On a sadder note, I am listing my VFR for sale in the next day or so I'm heading to the UK in August to live for a while.

I might have to pass on NASS (and most riding) for awhile, broke two bones in my foot trying to take on a pine tree up at woodhill
But the important thing is that the bike came off perfectly fine!
