Good on him for giving the penguin a lift home. if I got stranded somewhere I would hope that someone gave me a lift home too. Wouldn't give a flying fuck how much they were worth.

so he latches on to the publics need for a good samaratin story, one thats not been repeated 20 times since Chch EQ. Something that might make headlines....and get him some media attention.

He found a good one,,,and its costing him sweet fark all, relatively speaking.

Now if hes been stepping up and puring in some money (relative to his worth), or other resources to the Chch rebuild, or something like that, then I will take my hat off tot he guy, and thank him sincerely.

But helping a Penguin?
I know people are needing some nice 'feel good' stories in the media. But theres some better causes that this out there that need our attention.

And Im all for helping animals....Ive done two trips to the Auckland Islands moving DOC stuff.....theres some good work being done there. But. Priorities...

so you priorities are the only worthwhile ones?How do you know what Gareth Morgan has or has not done for the people of Chch?Just because you dont know doesnt mean he hasnt

And just in case anyone that read my post thinks I'm knocking GM..you couldn't be more wrong. I was simply saying to WT that they (Gareth and Jo) love the media knowing what they're up to, regardless of what they're up to.

I've sold both him and his fun/funny wife Jo bikes, they're good customers. They've given more moola away than I'll ever earn in my lifetime (until I win Lotto that is), and have fun doing it.
