ahhh few goodies on it already I see, you can get some cool shit at a price, best mod on Rashika's is hydrolic clutch conversion (04's were shockers) do you have the race ECU with that can?
Reckon the last of em in the red is the nicest looking, the screens a bit much tho so a dark tint IMO would finish it off well.
Reconmend puks too good drop protection for the tank/frame and actually help with wind flow.

It has a Drummer SS exhaust (North Carolina) and Erik Buell Racing ECM. I certainly prefer the red and black combo and are considering the black tinted screen too. I hadn't heard of the puks until last week and will definitely get some of those.

Just had a look back at ya photos... its already got the puk on it, so maybe get the carbon fibre air and and oil cooler covers
oh and I have always used Eagle Screans in perth, IIRC they make a double buble dark tint.

Ahh I get what you mean. I thought you were referring to the "skateboard wheels" whatever they are called in case the bike is dropped.

I dropped my XB12X when virtually stationary - mossy concrete slope, foot slipped twice and down she came.

No damage. Landed on the crash pucks and hand guards. The blinkers even fold out of the way. Done it on other modern bikes too and it's cost thousands.

I also like the fact that it is 'regular' maintenance free.

Check the oil, hit the muffler with a bit of rattle can black plaint every now and then and wave a hose at it - and it's done. There are no bright finish parts on mine.

Indeed but I wont be on the Uly it looks like. A very sexy 09 1125r is working its way in at the moment so it may very well be that we go to Akaroa on...but we will be there anyway......
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone

    Snap(ish).

Although I suspect my run of Buells will finish with this one.

    Eventually.

Is the matching screens/wheels colours a factory thing, or just a common mod?

Na.. to me a Buell is a old well worked push rod thumper.. not a race bike.
BUT... yes I know Buell is the bike not the engine, so agree, just not how I ment it.

I don't. The 2010 CR has the dirt bike bars standard, it's the best layout of all the Buells for me.

The engine's just stunning, Chris Sales took mine for a wee play on Manfeild, came in saying "Fark, it's got power from... just everywhere". There's days I'd swap it for the engine out of my XB12R, though.

A bit of an aside but I'm luvin' your sig at the moment. Kinda applies to this thread too: go for whatever tugs ya guts and just deal with whatever happens.

To the dude who started this thread: farkin' well done on the Buell purchase.
