DR250 running well, spitting out volts it should when it should, hot and cold, fuck yeah.

Rewiring starts now...would love a factory wiring diagram for a 1987 DR250 SH if anyone has better interweb skills than me?

GN250 and 1990-1994 models need not apply...

That's the goal...looking like it should be a goer by spring, got a problem with a dodgy earth but a rewire/tidy up is in order so I'm getting the soldering iron out...not trusting blade terminals and crimping tool this time.

Cheers Pete...but not quite what I'm after, I'm guessing the only way to get it will be to get someone to make a scan of the workshop manual...NMC wouldn't have one would they?

    HA!
being a smartie tightarse bit me on the... um... arse the other day.
Idownloaded a PDF of theDRz workshop manual someone painstakingly scanned & put on the web.
I got it printed out. Only cost $10 I thought. Nearly $40 later Ihad in myhand a badly scanned black& white 200page booklet with black& white not quite distinguishable photoswith- yep grayscale wiring schematics
    (cue Jatz infered facepalm poster)

    Score!

The one for the TT is crap as well.
    The DR one is bearable.

Got the trials rear back on the TT offroad rim.
All ready to play in the hills and for the cross country.

    In the mud...

    Next weekend...

Oh well. It was good practice.

Good to hear Will it's about time you had a functioning bike.

I don't see why they wouldn't, I know the local guys have repair manuals on computer.

I wonder if I should give my trials tyre a try..... see if it's as good as you say it is, but I think it'll sruggle to control the awsome power of the 350..

Me too, albeit 4-6 weeks away. My mates wore out 2 sets of brake pads each, finished the trip metal-on-metal.
    Cheers,
