Yeah! Thanks for a great day with great company. My friend had an absolute ball on the back on those roads. Just sorry I didn't have time to stop at the Swan but next time. Needed to get back to pick up my daughter.
And Katie, you were there riding with us, even if just in spirit.

I think we saw some of you guys at Masterton and the Swan. Went for a bit of a tiki-tour over that way ourselves. Was warmer and nicer over there for a change

we ended up over the Rapa too but the whole day was just a comedy of errors starting with 'discussion' at Pautahanui with group of cylists over road code, then had an almost 'Road Hog' movie blooper moment in the square at Martinborough. Other half managed to kick my hemet accidently across the forecourt of the
Gas station and then I almost arsed over putting on over pants. I swear his new bike is jinxd
It is entirely possible to teach an old blond new tricks!!!

Bah, you need to PM me as I don't always check this thread. Went out with a couple of 250s for a gently little ride to martinborough. Really nice relaxed ride.

    OK I'll remember that.

I went on my lonesome to Featherstone in the afternoon. The Takas was... interesting. A truck had crashed so there was a 30kph speed zone and cops with radars on so that was a major freak out. Then we went off road for a spell followed by a nice fresh diesel spill on every left hand bend on the way down... at least until you get to that lovely black tarmac when you know it's there but just can't see it. Going back was better. Thank fcuk.

Haven't been over since we went to Castlepoint and it wasn't that bad then. Pretty rubbish yesterday though.
