Ooooooo, carefull brother. The KB safety Nazis will be along any second to tell you that a new rider should never EVER test the performance of their machine.

Got a Ducati 999 in the garage that'll be keen for that corner wager whenever you're ready too

Cereal though, glad you're enjoying that bike. Look forward to going for a ride together soon.

Of course, I do not condone or partake in illegal activites. All my ramblings are hypothetical.

Yep thoroughly enjoying it so far. Perfect first bike IMO. That doesnt mean im not champing at the bit for another already. GSX-R600 or Street Triple would be nice.

Fuck me, you're keen. It was minus 2 at my place this morning. Good way to test those heated grips I suppose.

Raumati to Welly at 0600 - no heated grips and minus 1.

Heated grips kept my inner hands warm but outside still froze.

Riding in winter will give me a much better appreciation for the summer! And even freezing cold its still great fun.

Well with the return of the beautiful weather. I made the venture over the big hill (Rimutaka's) with another newbie mate.

Apologies to the two bikers I held up briefly, was a little unsure of the hill on the way over, but must admit i kicked a bit more tarmac butt on the way back home (to upper hutt).

Around 180km all up. Down to Wharekauhau road, then over to Martinborough, back through featherstone and home again. Bike performed flawlessly and fun was had by both parties.
