Haha there ya go ... lets see how I can build my total posts up instead of offering intelligent valuable information to the biking community.

Maybe thats what I was trying to say in my previous post and maybe why this site has become boring to a lot of the non posters now.

    getting dragged into it now

It's in the 'relative drivel' section of the web site - (as opposed to the absolute drivel section.)

There's people who take it seriously - and there are people who treat it like the disposable voltage that it is. Turn the computer off and it's inconsequential is mine.

Ah have some friends on here that the banter and opportunities for punning with makes it worthwhile, better than watching TV, and occasionally informative.

It's a reasonably tight bunch of pals and they know who they are. Common interests and tastes in light entertain-net.

Although if you want informative - the top sections we take more seriously.
In my case not nearly as 'considered' as print work. I do write best re-actively which is another benefit I get here. And plenty of it.

As for the 'interesting personalities' and the 'where are the non-PC rebels' - I personally don't give a shit. Not interested in anyone's arse but mine either.

The site is what you make it. Above is what I make of it. I find the use of the ignore function most beneficial too. You don't 'have' to 'listen' to everything. :-)

Awww look at the twisted panties.

BD puts a heap of useful info in, have you not seen the biblical amount of Monty Python and other classic humour he posts up?

5 reasons why I have not been posting

    1) Maybe I'm just sick of the wife asking me to get the hell off the computer and spend quality time with her in front of the boring TV channels that I can no longer bear to watch.
    2) Maybe I'm just trying to convince myself that I am really not interested in the drivel of like minded souls and I really don't want to accept that I do in fact enjoy participating in said drivel from time to time.
    3) Maybe because I have been too busy actually working on two wheeled machines at night installing upgrades, conducting maintenance and by default avoiding the wife and the PC.
    4) The garage computer where I can surf without interuption is still packed away after a recent holiday in Oz.
    5) I have greatly reduced my alcohol consumption to try and also reduce the waistline to fit into a recent quasi jacket purchase which has severly affected my ability to respond to...again the said drivel in the later hours of the evening.

Aye. I've got to the age where just thinking about Bourbon adds half a kilo.

Yes and if you use the spray variety be careful of overspray, makes things extremely slippery

Well it is the winter season. The summer weekend riders all have there bikes parked away in their garages along with their interest in online motorcycle forums.

For me personally, I have simply been too busy at work to spend much time online.

I'm probably not a 'big time poster' for this to have any weight behind it but...

This site was entertaining when people were having full blown scraps on here. Crazy Steve comes to mind - that dude was fucked and his posts made me feel better about myself

    Bring back the banter!

I'd come on here a lot more if hot young females were active on this site/or even rode motorcycles! I don't see enough of them on the road

There are a few cougars on here though! Get naked I reckon.

Motorcycling is unfortunately an older person thing in general. Which is a shame but most pimpley faced teens are now drop kick boy racers. Even if more young people were riding motorbikes, they would only stumble on here by accident.

I post less now because I'm working full time and am playing sports again and attending the gym 3 or 4 times a week... Because I know that the KB community as a whole cares that I post bugger all anymore

I bought some very good headphones. Result. read latest PB, listen to music, cat on lap, "togetherness" but not watching telly. Win.

I've often thought "Whez da bitchez?" but never put it as eloquently.
