The anti semite thread

Some people in Israel felt we might be a little anti semite in our finger pointing at their citizens that fled after the earthquake. At least that's what the paper would have us believe

I thought that was a little rough... ragging on the natives, gooks, wops, Poms, Africans etc etc... heard all the jokes, read the papers, listened to people yada yada... but hating on Jews? Can't say I've come across that in NZ yet.

Anyone come across antisemitism in their travels through this land? I assume that Kyle Chapman is one example, and there's always weirdos like him... But in general?

And since when does us frowning on Israel from sending their spies here make us Jew haters anyway? Would it just make us Israeli haters anyway? Jews == Israelis?? What, all of them?

BTW, don't go drinking with the Israeli backpackers eh... IME they're generally just out of compulsory military service and have well got their drinking down pat

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - Swastikas and Nazi slogans have been gouged around Jewish graves in New Zealand, a day after it imposed diplomatic sanctions on Israel over two suspected Israeli spies who tried to obtain a passport by fraud.

Sixteen graves were attacked overnight in the Jewish part of a cemetery in Wellington that dates to the 1880s, a city council spokesman said

"Someone's used some sort of stick or tool to gouge swastikas into the grass around the graves. Words like 'Sieg Heil' have been scratched into the footpath," he said on Friday.

The head of the New Zealand Jewish Council said the desecration of the graves was linked to the passport case and the resulting sanctions against Israel.

Calling someone, or some country, anti-semite is what Israel does in any situation when they're being called on being dicks. The maoris do the same in this country.

This sort of diversionary counter-accusation is a textbook method for moving focus away from an issue. It's like character-assassination in a court room; completely irrelevant but the jury seem to care about it.

People who claim the're Islamic is the worst I've encountered. Can't belive the amount of pro Nazi shit Ive heard some of these people. Worked with a Palistinian who once praised Hitler, hated the cunt ever since.
