    My bike has the left hand pillion peg mount holding up the exhaust.

    And I'm pretty sure my last bike had that too. Not the peg itself, but the mounting point.

    Neither of which were Hyosungs.

    In fact, a quick Google image search indicates that ZX6s which don't have the underseat exhaust use the same thing.

    Personally, I wouldn't take one pillion footpeg off, but then isn't part of biking doing whatever you want with your bike?
