Assuming you are not Mr Frank Senior, Maybe you should wax lyrical on the lad so Steve gets the hint. Andy Mcgechan always attends the major events. He should be able to offer up a candidate or three. This thread should probably be tagged to the MX pages.

Without googling wax lyrical i'll just be presumptuous and do this ! Oh and nah not his old man, though i know he'd love to give Billy a crack at road racing !

This is a couple of years old now mind you, he'd be 14 now easy, maybe 15, mixing it up with the seniors !

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

That's really impressive riding. The kid has the throttle pinned all the time. Brilliant. Classy vid promotion too, shakey footage aside. He might have his heart in the dirt though. I'd love to see him try a Streetstock on a weekend he's not roosting a berm.

Haha yeah thanks, ya can blame me for that (not the steadiest of hands on a sunday morning), Threw that together for a CD to add to his CV.
Just a handycam, windows movie maker and a shitload of spare time !

What ya say about a streetstock on a weekend is what i'd like to see also ! Aint happened yet, but he was keen as catshit back when i made that vid, i offered to help find him a bike when he turned 14 so he could give it a go, as i say it aint happened as yet lol
When ya add the fact he'd need a full kit of gear too, it makes for an expensive trial !

Motomart dyno, can't recall the brand it is.
Gearing run to set up then top gear roll-on recording from about 6000 rpm. Reproducable over 2 runs before engine got too hot, 43.7hp (+/- 0.5) @ 13k for the 2000 model (with all the shit it has on it I should damn well think it should make 44ish hp), 43.2 (+/- 0.5 hp) @ 12500 rpm for the 1998 model (with the worked cases this one has that sounds about right).
Made changes to set up and found differences in performance.
Really clean traces too. Can't recall the torque numbers off top of my head.
