Pollen and dust and talcum powder

I look forward to any uninformed analysis.

Nice little low side in a 30kph 90deg left hander.

I tipped it in, and I should have been more aware. Thanks to the 750 shadow that helped pick me up.

If I wanted an excuse I could say my tyres were cold but the truth is, I knew that it was dusty (I wiped the first of the seasons pollen off the car this morning) and I was caught out.

Thank you ATGATT. That doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt a bit.

Need to find a spa pool I think.

Tough news mate, I had a bit of a nasty squiggle on a 90 degree right hander the other day. I think it was cement/roadworks dust hiding under the dampness but I don't know for sure.

Stealthy shit on the road can lurk anywhere any time. ATGATT indeed. Glad you're OK.

Bum! Thanks for the heads up though, never would have called pollen a hazard on the road.

    Gutted dude.

Plenty of slippery crap on the road this time of year, best to avoid when possible, and slow way down when not. I sometimes test the slip of various bits by riding over slowly and giving it a bit of power, good way to remind yourself how slippery things can get, at a time when it is safe to do so.

Damage to the bike is a wee bit extreme though, will be fun to have it in the garage tomorrow

Are you gonna upload photos of your "Squidtastic pile of crap"

And shit I knew the roads were slippery at this time of year, Frost and all that stuff, but a lowside at 30ks? Just goes to show that the road is just about as unpredictable as the cage drivers.

Hope this doesn't happen to me anytime soon (Crap probably just jinxed myself)

No point in photos. 30 kph=2 scuffed panels and a bar end, meh.

Dry as a bone. That is how I made the mistake.

The thing is we are so careful when it comes to the slightest glimpse of moisture, I only posted as a heads up.

I've low-sided at 60kph in nothing more than jeans and PVC jacket (although I was wearing boots, gloves and helmet) and came away without so much as a scratch or bruise.
