I must add my accolades to the great work that Skunk and his army of vollies are doing this year. The meeting are running very smoothly despite the many challenges that pop up. They all deserve a medal.
I'm one of those who simply can't afford to race the Actrix Winter Series. Any finance is being stretched to breaking point to get my daughter GirrlRacer out there in Streetstock. This has only been possible due to the generosity of those such as Wharfy, Ridelife, Shaun, Billy, Jeff, Dr Steve and others. The cheap entry for juniors helps heaps as well. Luckily I have a transponder.
I am getting into buckets as a more affordable option but my bank manager hasn't been impressed with my version of "affordable" so far.

Absolutely agree one 100%. Another fantastic round of the famous Winter Series. Well done Team.

A glorious sunny day max temp hit 14 deg
110 entries with all classes well represented - even a field of sidecars
Lots of new faces in clubmans
The Ambo didnt move all day
And some early signs of good times by some..........

    Go the south & MCC
Considering all the problems down thatta way that's a farkin' great effort by all concerned. Well done MCC!

For myself the numbers just don't stack up doing a Northern club meet. I don't get to sling a leg over a bike that often so hanging around all day for just 22laps is an exercise in frustration. There's no chance to improve either my own riding or the bike so I just stick to the test days beforehand. It's not ideal, I'd rather be racing, but if I'm not getting anything out of it I'd rather spend the $$$ saved on heading South for some Summer skids.

To me thats a test/track day. Id much rather be racing.

The flipside is at an off road(mx, cross country or enduro) meeting, Im happy to finish/survive the day and not after more riding for the day!
