Well I got home before dark.
Ended up having a bit of a no-nads ride as they ended up being a wee bit late.
After grinding to a holt on the ice I decided not to persevere with the mountain climbing and spent some time exploring some of the roads at the base of the hill, need to spend more time in that area.
The nads were last seen reducing tyre pressure and heading into the snow with much gusto (perhaps never to be seen again?)

Sounds exciting UG. O think I may have heard them come past about 1/2hr ago or so. Bit slipery up there I take it.

I knew there was a reason I quit when I did, The Dommie was going backwards where that ute was stuck so I thought fuc this I'm off to play somewhere else.

    Stunning day....

We'd already lost one rider who had an off before the caretakers house in the Maitai. It was a little slippery/icy in places. I had a wee slide down the road on my arse too

Nordie (shinko boy).... looking slick in his custom helmet

there was a bit of paddling going on

This is as far as we got.

It was a good day out despite the lack of caffiene and shane showed us an alternative route back down and pointed out another track to have a crack at next time.

Good effort with snow finding...parts DR250 running sweet but not road legal one...suspicious it wants to be thrown off a cliff, or to run an ether injection system for every time I need to start it

Both about to be relegated to the woodshed for a couple of months as little bro's Nissan Silvia S15 with GTR motor needs a place to be looked after until he gets back from pommie land.
