I can only say that like you I have a PC two tone dirty rim. Does'nt make my bike any faster though & it's hard getting the shit off the rim where it's caked into the lube which gets flung off at high speed.But if you keep it on the wrist, and it somehow gets caught on the rim

I don't think having a colourful rim really has any impact on performance but a colourful powerband might help you to go further or stay in the saddle longer.

Everyone knows that power bands go from the rear sprocket through flux capacitor to the power modulator.. How else are you going to achieve warp speed?
