The tv1 forecast looked really good. Can't wait, it's been ages since we raced on a nice day.

Thanks Maidstone Yammie, Fishie and helpers. A very enjoyable ride holding up the back of B-grade. I managed to get to know the CBR, ironed out some wrinkles and got a clear indication of where the love needs to go before the next meeting.

Much thanks to Fish for organizing such a great day. And thanks to all of you who helped me out today. I look forward to returning in better health. Such addictive fun.

wHAT happened? C'mon you know we want to know, don't leave us in suspense.
Not well because of crash or just cold/flu?
I need stories. I got to see some bikes going round the track of the cam, but way not the same.
Mihi - was that you wearing a turquoisey colour jacket? If so, I waved, but you didn't wave back (oh, okay, I'm not dumb enough to wave at the puter). Was trying to spot who was watching what though (yeah, I'm sad).

Yes a good day. Wow it was dry, well except that one race & that wasn't so bad/

Really enjoyed myself, although I was hoping I'd be a little further up the pace, however it was a shakedown run & the power curve dips before peak so it feels a little flat until you really get a straight & rev it out.

Queer thing is although it is nicer powerwise than the 50 which can often feel in-between gears, I actually still enjoyed the 50 more. Sicko.

Na, no crashes chick. Well he did throw away his two-stroke on lap one of the last session. The message is pretty clear me thinks. Let me take it off your hands G before it hurts you
Mihi was in black today on Malcolms NSRMB. She did bloody well. Maybe a second a lap behind me. The CBR has a way to go before it is as well set up or as nice to ride as Craig's FXR. If you sent me down some nice slicks it would be a good start

there are some for sale on TM at the mo. Mr Murphy is busy eyeing a couple of sets of them up at the mo (he's got 5 sets to sell). No idea who the seller is (we're eyeing up his trailer, that's cool).

All4A50s seems to be good at binning two smokers No wonder they've got a tough reputation, but they're so much fun to ride.

Will try and upload photos tomorrow and put the link up here, mainly b-grade.

Glad we could bring some dry(ish) weather down for you people in the 04. Will have to look at my carb this week, hopefully its only that.

Cheers Fish for the days racing.

Great turn out and a great race day, cheers everyone. I enjoyed my day except for the 2nd points race where it was spitting and the cold shear problems I'm having with the new Bridgestones. I think I might need the soft compound slick instead of the supersoft. Today felt like the first proper race day I have had in my new frame at Kaitoke and I'm over the moon with it. The last race day I only went out twice and didn't want to go fast in the mixed conditions. The ZXR frame is far better than the FXR frame, much more controllable.

Dave your 100 seems to go hard, I'm looking forward to you getting it dialed in properly because you were going fast today man. Especially in the wettish conditions. That last race was great, took me aaages to catch you and then you slammed the door damn hard on me when I tried to pass which left me laughing. Good stuff, I love that kind of racing.

Hey I hadn't won a A grade race in a long time, I couldn't let this one slip away.

Actually I don't remember closing the door that hard, if it was the corner before the pit I knew you were there & kept it tight so you didn't barge through the inside, but you kind of have to throw it over at some stage to make that corner.

As the day went on I actually had more energy & my nose was clearing up so I could breath a bit better.

The 100 went well, but I have to do something about the heavy clutch. And the power curve. It probably spends from about 9 making as much power as a std FXR, then it dips & then goes crazy. A linear progression would make better progress.

In fact I had energy to do the last The B grade on the 50 which was good fun but I will admit to being a bit nervous at the start -until I saw Fishe pulling out the slip lane on the borrowed bike. A Psychotic Fishe sliding through the inside on a minimoto didn't hold much appeal
