Rgv250 rolling chassis for sale in Wellington

No it's not mine. I was at the track today and a nice guy came up to me and said he has an RG250 frame that he wants gone (I'm not sure if it's RG or RGV that he meant, but it's an aluminium frame). Has brakes, wheels, discs, suspension... basically everything including fairing moulds! It sounds like a great deal, he doesn't want much. He said it has an aluminium frame and the upside down forks that are adjustable n what not. I told him to bring it up to buckets next week as I figured someone would buy it if it's as good as it sounds. Bring your cash with you if you're interested next week.

I'll pay him twice what it owes him if he pays the freight to auckland

sounds like it could be a good deal for someone

Yeah I'm glad he got it sold. I told him he wasn't making enough noise and it didn't take long for the word to spread after that!

Was actually an RG not an RGV & even though I have a mk1 I'm not enough of a trainspotter to know the diff between a Mk1 & a Mk3, although a 4 is easy. All the VJs are easy to tell.

RG frames are pretty cool, just saw one at the track today, then I went back to work, how sad
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues

Nah the guy described it differently than what it was. It still looked ok though, surely better than an FXR frame at least

Maybe, but I swapped one of those early RG frames for an FXR frame, it was a hell of a lot easier fitting my FXR engine into than the RG frame was going to be.

std RGV rim sizes are for 110 front & 150 rear so still need to be changed to run slicks.
