Rather fix it properly first time so I'm not fixing it again in a couple of months. I've already resigned myself to not riding this month so no panic. Just need to know what size piston I need to get.
    Thanks tho Dave.

Is there enough of the piston crown to read a number on the crown. 0.25 would indicate a 1st over. No mark means std. heck I have a std new piston kit I'm pretty sure.

Where did the piston break, if indeed so? Heck I'll call you.

Thought I'd post this here as well as my reply to Fishe:

You might have to mention to the B graders that if they can't find an A grader to ride with (limited A graders of course) they can ride with another B grader & we can do a lonely hearts club match up on the day.

Otherwise people might get the idea they can't ride & there are more B graders than A.

Does anyone know what entry will cost? Is it the usual individual entry cost per rider or a team entry price?

Probably the same as normal. I assume this is a normal day with practise races & then the enduro for all classes (karts & us). But I could be wrong.

How is this for an outstanding new rule.

    REVVING KART ENGINES

In the latest rules round sent by Kartsport NZ, there is a new rule regading the revving of kart engines. Each kart club must now have an area set aside for the revving of kart engines, and this is the only area karts can be revved at high speed. This rule is being phased in over the next 12 months. However Kartsport Wellington has decided to implement this rule immediatley. So from the September clubday onwards the only place that karts may be high revved is the two parks beside the main entrance gate to the track. This is the area as you enter our track on the left side of the entry gate, in front of the drive up to the very top car park.

It's pissing down anyway. Ugh. I'll head up to the track. There is a chance it will dry out for this afternoon's enduro. Will be wet all morning though.

If Glen happens to show (he was in Hawkes Bay last night), feel free to partner with him for the enduro. Apparently he is fast

I hope it went well. The wet morning meant that other obligations got promoted over racing. Shame really, I was looking forward to showing Jimmy the fast lines
