I must admit I have missed the Friday night meal at the Awakino Pub knowing there is a whole flock of Adv bikes waiting under the clothes line....

And then of course knowing Whangamomona Pub / camp ground is waiting for Saturday night.

As Phil says still a bit wet for his trails but who is keen to go hunt out some tunnels, waterfalls, and gravel roads that are big bike suitable?

Reply here whether you want to experience all (or most....) that the Naki has to offer?

    Colin are you out there?

Maybe there needs to be 2 rides. I really want to wait till summer as what ive got in mind is more aimed at "mid" size bikes and I want it dry enuf that it wont take 4 hours to go as many km. Just not 2 soon as DR is in diassembled mod. Frame paint and BIG BLOCK time.

Let's chat in the weekend Phil? Two rides sounds good - mainly as I dont have the skills to take the KTM on your trails as I need something a bit less boggy under the wheels!

Hi Mike, as you know i always like it dirty ( the dirtier the better ) but i think that the idea of another scenic ride around the taranaki tunnels would be great.

I would be a starter for sure and now that Suki Girl has moved up from her DR200 to the DR650 lowrider she is keen to do more riding also.

I'm told under NZ law you could cash some of that in for a few extra pingers if you wanted too.

I've a busy schedule over the next few weeks, but if the bikes running OK, the weather looks fine, the stars align, the moon is in the right phase....I might be a starter.

Well it sounds as though there is plenty of interest out there :-)

I will see what we can plan and hopefully put a couple of suggested dates up for comment during the week.
