Whoa, bugger me . Since we spoke yesterday afternoon , the Trumpy is ready to be picked up this weekend so there is still a bit of work there if you want it. If you have no workshop you can do it at my place. It ain't much I know, you have my number.

Really sorry to here this, Seems like you could do with a couple of breaks going your way.

I am going to Australia now to Shut my mouth and work for some one over there, the mental stress from my crash was enough to break a very hard person but I pulled through it with NO real Income for the last 4 years, I have sold every single personell thing that ever mattered to me, ALL my TT trophies now all my bike stuff

Time to move on folks

I am so sorry to hear about this. Having owned a business, what you are saying hits home REALLY hard. Unless someone has owned a retail business they have no idea how HARD it is to run it and live. Even when things are going well, you are constantly thinking and preparing for seasonal slow downs and having to save money for those times. Plus in many cases the rent is just crushing.

BEST OF LUCK IN AUSTRALIA, sometimes change is a very good thing and often CRAP things like this happen for a reason and you will be better off as a result. Don't call yourself a failure, anyone who has attempted to start a business is a brave individual!

FYI for anyone starting a new retail business - don't. Go look at existing businesses for sale and see how you can improve them. At least you will have some existing cash flow and a financial history and rent history to make better predictions of what you want to achieve. B2B is different, especially because rent/area is much cheaper and often you do not have to be in a high visibility area.... and many times you can start from your house and grow into office/manufacturing space, hence keeping initial overhead low.
