We know that those who like fatty foods will just pay the extra and carry on, I guess that's the point. Is there nothing better than financial penalty? and on food of all things.

they tax cigarettes as smoking causes cancer which in turn costs so much in medical expenses. the same applies to fat related illnesses.....people need to be more responsible for what they do to their bodies.

I think it's a fuckin retarded idea. Fatty food doesn't make you fat. For the vast majority, prolonged calorific excess makes you fat.

All they are doing is making the better tasting foods more expensive, another way for the man to keep you down.
