Well that's a reverse.
At work, the motorcycle area is right next to the first of the car parks. Certain of the drivers like to squeeze over to the motorcycle side of that park, to give them more room between them and the second car.
I've been photographing one particular car (anyone tell me who owns "2EES"?) that often goes a foot over the yellow line into the motorcycle area.
It's a pain because you can't park your bike, when the park is very full, close to that car park for fear of some knob trying to move it to get into their car, or just mutual scratching happening.
Today it's very different - there's a CanAm Spyder (RT?) parked in the first car park.
(And given the lack of space, yes, I would have been very annoyed if it was in the motorcycle area...)
Our work parks require the cars to have a sticker in their window; the bikes don't need any sticker. I forgot to check if the Spyder had the sticker that would "allow" it in the car space. (Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't!)

Well PZ to rest your mind,
that Can Am DOES have a 'sticker' on it, it belongs to my partner, who also works there.
BTW, the Can Am's are an orphan, you can drive them on a car licence, they are registered as a 'trike' and insurance companies levy a higher excess on riders who do not have a full M/cylce licence.
In the national highway parking areas they are classed as a M/cycle and can park in the M/c bays,,,, confused??? So are we!
They (work) could have refused her a sticker! (no point getting pissed at her if it HAD to be parked in the M/c area). We had to explain it is as wide as a 'small car'.
2EES?? think of a beer that sounds similar to the rego, is the owners name mate,, should be pretty easy to track that particular one down??,![]()

I've put you all in this one post so you will understand, CAN AM's are considered a 'motorcycle' by the powers that be, they actualy do not know exactly how to class them, yes they CAN be ridden on a car licence, however insurance companies penalise for not having a full bike licence. So a full bike licence is preferable and usable. We (partner and I) agree that they take a lot of room and unless travelling with motorcycles in a group, would look for a car park, and then get exactly the same 'abuse' for being a bike in THEIR parking areas, so as for can am riders waving? Maybe it's being ridden BY a motorcyclist,,, unless of course I will suddenly lose all my 37 years of continuous riding BECAUSE I am on her Can Am?

Na it's just that nobody waves to FJ riders. Also Harley's can park where the fuck they like, don't you know!
A Can-am, a Harley Servicar or what ever the new ones are called and those monster trikes you see around, to me are bikes because you ride on it and wear a helmet. A 3 wheeler Morgan or a Reliant Robyn is a car because you drive in it and it has seat belts. (I do like the looks of the new Big M, little organ, three wheelers). I have raced against a old JAP motored one and they haul ass for a old car.
I park my side car in both MC and car parks, depending on the availability of space. I have never had any tin top drivers ever say anything but words to the effect of "cool bike, how old is it?". I don't think I would be so inconsiderate to put it in a bike park in central Wellington during a work day, well not yet anyway.
I suppose the Rozza would look at the rego to see if it was a car or a bike.

Interesting! I guess they do have windshields to stick the sticker on. Not that I'd want that to become common - or they'd maybe make two-wheelers (with screens) stick stickers on them.
I'd guessed the name - but had assumed it was a nickname. Just did a search (yes, at work on Sunday) and there are three people with that first name, and at least two look to work in this town. (My last day here is this Friday, so probably won't get up to much in any case...)
Another thing I've noticed about that motorcycle park - asphalt doesn't like side stands and centre stands.
