We will be taking our school sidecars to Roys Hill on the 11th of September for a bit of a show off. Should be good fun, I will be riding one that my mate and I built from scratch, frame and all. Roger made some moulds so will be doing fairings for them aswell. Should look relatively pro when theyre done.

Here's some pics of one of the other chairs that already have the fairings on. Taken on my phone so they aren't that flash sorry.

No, was thinking of young Stacey who brings her leathers in the hope that Gazza will turn up (or she can score a ride on #44), and Jason's boy (Kelly? fark, sorry dude, shit with names, but the one who's had a haircut and really looks like a boy now lol).

Okay, so now I'm dobbed in as being crap and senile, I'll just forget I read your post, but ask "when the hell are we seeing you, I'm about to forget your name is David". Oh, and we've got my olds to move into an old folks shelter, so don't give me excuses boyo.

(oh, if you want to see a young Henk, ask him to see photos of before we got married hahaha). It was his hair that attracted me to him (now I'm in the poo, he thought it was the rum). Be afraid, be very afraid.

You could probably run it in the open class for buckets?
    I could be wrong though.

There are two that have run recently, another that is being built at the moment and one work in progress that is coming up from Wellington before year end.
There are also a couple of other people talking about building.
I think this is one of those things where if a few start turning up on a regular basis, more will get built and some of the old rigs may get dragged out of the sheds they are hiding in.

Go for your life I say, but talk to Gazzza on here, he is the only person I know of that has built one recently and may be able to give you some pointers.

Hi there, good to hear someone else wants to build a sidecar, the more the better. Mt wellington has a fun day on dec 18th, hopefully Gazzza will be there with a couple of sidecars and my mate and i should be there with one. Just look for the two old fat guys trying to relive their youth

Sidecars are great fun. Can be a lot of work though. Here's a pic of me at taupo back in the dark ages.

Haha - Good to see Roger has polluted the minds of yet another generation!
If you are still going to school with him, Tell him that Daniel from Hastings says hi, and is wondering what ever happened to the hovercraft we built at Hastings Boys'. We gave it back to the school after the fan broke up and make a fu*%ing great big hole in the side of my mates garage. I think Roger had it when he lived in Waipawa. Just wondering if anyone ever bothered to fix it or if it got thrown out in the end.

    Sorry for the thread hijack

Going back to my cave now...

Yeah, that's the same sort of comment as "look for the ratty old white van". It doesn't narrow anything down hahaha
Okay, so not everyone is old, not everyone is fat, some are still living their youth, but it doesn't narrow it down totally lol

It would be great to have a heap of sidecars, motards, mini's, and F5 bikes happening again. We've got work happening on F5 bikes, so to have sidecars making a start as well, is fantastic

Hi Dutchee, okay i'll narrow it down more. Look for the fat old guys reliving their youth, wearing yellow sweat shirts with Acme Racing Team on them. Driving the tatty white van ha ha. Yeah sidecars are awsome they'er closer to the ground so it doesn't hurt so much when you fall off.
