    A true classic

This is indeed a very good point and it is always useful to find an old duffer (mentioning no names) with experience of said alledged 'Classic' to get some quirky background info
Had a 54 Minx and it was fabulous to drive, smooth and comfy at 60mph. Only prob was the block on the side-valve was warped and needed planing so it would blow head-gaskets. The the rear axles, being held in by axle nuts on the shaft and which were right hand thread both sides... well the right rear axle nut undid itself and the wheel axle and all shot out and jammed against the mudguard on the main road just out of Siverdale, coming back from Albany. So there i was, in the middle of road works getting covered in dust, trying to get the flamin' thing back together, and manged to crack the brake hose in the process, leading to having to drive home with only the handbrake... Fun going over the Waiwera hill...

That would be an excellent shopping hack To be honest (wait for it, I'm sick) I'd rather have an Armstrong Sillybilly.
