as a slow rider, comments like that are one reason I'm seriously wondering whether to take my F4 bike to Taupo or not bother. I'll take the F5 bike down, but not convinced about the fxr, as I'd hate to ruin someone else's race because I'm being selfish and wanting to have fun.

though it sort of raises the question about A & B grade GP's like the old days; speed and skill differential (given the numbers now racing) should be considered.

Agree with ya! It's not like we're not trying, just some of us don't learn as fast as others eh! I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone but myself or win any national titles, just want to keep my license by not riding about on the roads and have some fun.
One of the most memorable races I've been involved in was the BOB about 4 years ago when it snowed. Only time I lapped my hubby, both of us on stock standards, him on The Blu Poo aka Rangi before he became Rangi and me on Pamela (AX). BUT we both finished when greater racers did not. Pretty fuckin proud of that, AND fuck it was FUN!!!!!!!!
