If you had the warning it was coming, ie the clown is standing in the road with his arm out, what would be more intimidating than dropping a couple of gears and clutching the front up a few feet. Suddenly the bike is twice as big and you have a big front wheel coming for your body, I sure as hell would get out of the way...
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

This is primarily a NZ-based forum, right?
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Poor fucker, I would have probably done the same if some twat tried that shit on me,
Or I would carry on and come back shortly later with something a little more intimidating than a stiff arm..

what the fuck. Musta been the meth. I had to pull the kabar out a couple of weeks ago to put down a sheep i rode into. Would hate to ride into a meth addict...
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

Actually I wonder if the 'motorcyclist (as reported) was actually a scooterist? That would make more sense than a pedestrian taking on someone on a 'real' motorbike.

Never had someone wanna clothesline me, but once while riding through studentville (bout 6pm one summer evening) I had two little cunts throw a full sized wheelie bin at me.
Combination of skill, luck, and good reflexes meant it missed. by a few inches or so.
sufficient to say neither of them will throw something at a motorcycle again.
The look of fear when they realise two on one doesnt mean shit when the lone guy is in full bike armour and helmet, wearing gloves with VERY hard knuckles cant feel any of the punches being thrown at him is priceless!

This is the cause of the problem. The friggen penalities are no deterent.

WTF on the motorway patrol on tv. You get stopped with a car with no wof, no rego, illegal mods, learner licence and passengers, you are allowed to drive off. Parents pay the fines I suppose.

Because a) the prisons are full, and b) he's young and likely will become more of a cunt if he hangs around a prison full of convicts.

    ...just unreal!

First it was kids putting fishing line across a bridge (remember that!)....now the little shits are trying to clothesline us

A good "start" to punishment....make the little shit attend a large bike rally -Stand him up infront of hundreds of bikers to explain what he did then apologize (before he gets lynched!...THEN let Tigertim shoot him .....joking!)

Poor bloody rider....if its not traffic trying to kill ya through stupidity...its kids with knifes or fishing line

.....mind you, stopping to confront said kids isn't really the best move, stopping to call the poilce and then following to watch the little punk "get some" from our finest IS!

When Life thows me a curve
    ...I lean into it!
