Cool will check that out , There seems to be some support for a thursday ride from Mobil in Taradale road again , usual over the summer the Saturday rides are more on a casual basis . anyone interested in keeping in touch re rides PM me with a Cell ph no .
Also this weekend is the 24 hr ride and Rowan ( of one legged fame ) is going to do it , he is asking if any one wants to ride through to Turangi on Sat morn with him he is leaving at 7.30 am .

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

I see that ACC etc are putting on a rider's skills day at Roy's Hill kart track next Sunday 20.11. Well worth attending for all riders - even if you learn just one thing. It could be the one thing that saves your life, or stops a situation from turning to custard. And it's free. Get something back from the exorbitant rego, huh?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I was wondering what that MOTORCYCLE OPEN DAY sign was on about.

I might as well go my rego runs out on the 21st.

    Another one off to Oz!
I'm leaving this overpriced underpaid country on Monday for a few years, and a mate of mine is off in February.
But ya won't catch me selling the TL, She's going into long term storage.
Any tips on long term storage for fuel injected bikes? I know to fill the tank, put extra air in the tyres, lift it off the ground and give it a thorough clean.
But I'll still worry about it when I'm gone. Will topping up the oil to the filler hole do any good? or just put some clean stuff in up to the normal level?

    Cheers

I had read to put in some fresh oil upto the normal level. The article also recommended letting some air out the tyres and to remove the battery from the bike. A google search might dig up some answers.
