I think we have a bit of miscommunication & Hearsay. Oyster wasn't there (that I saw), but is obviously protective of the lads. Racing incidents happen & tempers can get heated esp at the time if you've been biffed. But certainly I've never heard Andrew say anything like that.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone with my post. Having worked for many years with young people in our sport I see it as a fact that there is far too much discrimination and abuse thrown at these youngsters only because of their age / inexperience. If I told all the stories of what I've witnessed most people would be disbelieving that these incidents actually occurred, in many cases the offenders are "typical nice guys" or officers within our club and national leadership.
So when I hear of this kind of behaviour from a source I totally trust, I act to get it out in the open.
Unless you can openly say who said what and in what context then I am sorry but it is just not the type of behaviour that AA would even consider indulging in. I have seen him have a quiet conversations with a 'track offenders' both young and old without being a prick about it. This sort of gossip mongering is what causes rifts in 'our' sport.....
"Some people are like clouds, once they fuck off, it's a great day!"
That Andrew A guy is a real dick. I bet he did say it. Ban him.
You should have approached Andrew himself and asked him for his view on the alleged incident. Now everyone is going to have a field day with your comments. As Nigel said, you should have known what kind of reaction you would get by posting hearsay on KB. You haven't done anyone any good by posting that here.
I have high doubts that Andrew would say such things, and the fact you think that he would discriminate against young racers is fundamentally flawed by the fact that his 16(?) Y/O son races buckets as well. A damn good rider too.
So uummmm where does this leave us? You making your third-hand-vigil-anti post questioning the integrity of a top guy and racer? This sort of argument in no way helps the sport.
Anyway can we get away for this inane dribble & get back to the real matter at hand; - Smack talking about who is going to win next year (bearing in mind that it isn't that far away). I think Hamish could feature prominently.
If he could only lose a bit of weight.

I'll have to start be exercise (& stretching progam) earlier than the night before, like this year. Then I might tighten the stator plate nuts & even loctite. Not to say that will help the rest of the engine stay together. Maybe I'll be finished my proper engine.
Besides, I didn't see you finishing
(I was probably too busy pushing back to the pits).

Doing the GP's you will! It did seem to go pretty quick, though my knees werent saying that at the end.
The timing system never lies...
16 184 Peter Robson 33 32:22.298 29.926 57.158 31 81.878
DNF 27 David Trustrum 2 2:04.454 59.069 2 79.229
Wanted to get the green bike from chch but he picked his pace up when it dried out. My bike didnt do too badly for a unmolested FXR. Maybe a diet of bread and water only and maybe I won't loose so much ground on the straights. Looking forward to all those corners on track 2.
So you're saying you went 2 sec a lap quicker than me huh? Well I'll probably come up with some cleverly engineered excuse like my bike barely made it to the 2nd lap. Its cold comfort as I can't deny I had my arse handed to me. But there is always next year. and so on.
